Viv has painted for many years and gained qualifications through the Open College Network and City and Guilds diplomas in Mixed Media and Creative Techniques.

She now works from her studio on North Gower which overlooks the open countryside of the Morlais valley and the AONB.

Painting Gower seascapes in mixed media and collage Viv works by combining photo reference images, moving elements and enhancing colour to create interesting compositions. Viv also paints larger scale images in oil.

Commissions are also taken for animal portraits in pastel.

She exhibits annually with the Horton Sketching and Painting Group over the August Bank Holiday and also has had paintings in the annual Swansea Open Exhibition at the Glynn Vivian Gallery and other local exhibitions through the year.
